Case study
SorinVC.com. A creator brand hub with a playable arcade game inside..
A personal brand hub for a Chicago content creator, rebuilt from a 19MB page into a lean, fast experience with an animated skyline and a fully original browser racing game.
The brief
What this project needed.
The original site weighed 19MB and crawled. The rebuild cut page weight by 99 percent while adding more, not less: an animated Chicago skyline, dark and light mode, and full technical SEO with Person structured data.
Then came the part that shows what a website can actually do: Lake Shore Cut Up, a fully original browser arcade racing game with player accounts, an in-game economy, and a global leaderboard that syncs across devices. Built from scratch, playable by anyone, right in the browser.
The build
What we shipped.
- 99% page-weight reduction. From a 19MB page to a lean, sub-second experience. Same brand, a fraction of the wait.
- Original playable arcade game. Lake Shore Cut Up: an arcade racer with player accounts, an in-game economy, and a global leaderboard synced across devices.
- Animated Chicago skyline. A custom motion piece that gives the brand a sense of place without slowing the page down.
- Full technical SEO. Person structured data, clean architecture, and metadata built for a personal brand that gets searched by name.
- Dark and light mode. The full experience holds up in both themes.
